Safety First!

To ensure the safety of your group and our fellow residents, please take note of the following:

  • There are two emergency exits.  One is at the end of the hallway to your left just before the elevator.  The other is at the far end of the hallway past the elevator.  Please familiarize yourselves with both.
  • All three sliding doors to the balcony are hurricane doors and as such have high sills to prevent water intrusion.  Watch your step!
  • No smoking or open flames (candles, incense, etc.) anywhere in the condo or on the balcony.
  • No lighting or possession of fireworks anywhere on the property.
  • No grilling anywhere on the property.
  • Adhere to all posted rules regarding use of the swimming pool.
  • Flooding on the surrounding roadways can occur at high tides. Do not exceed 5 mph when driving through a flooded stretch of road.
  • Stay tuned for weather notices, especially during hurricane season, and heed all evacuation directives.

Hurricane Notice

When a Hurricane Watch is issued, you should begin preparations for possible evacuation.  You should monitor the storm along with local authorities and the National Hurricane Center.  If probability of a hit becomes likely, State and local officials will issue a Mandatory Evacuation.

In case of Mandatory Evacuation you must evacuate!

You should pack all belongings, including food, and evacuate immediately.  The host will not be responsible for any items you may leave behind.  Exit the area via the Hurricane Routes.  Prior to leaving the property, complete the "Hurricane Preparation Checklist" which includes:

  • Complete the departure cleanup list as practical.
  • Bring all deck furniture and any other unsecured items inside.
  • Take perishables out of refrigerator and put trash in outside dumpsters.
  • Turn off refrigerator and leave its doors open.
  • Set thermostat to OFF position.
  • Close all blinds.
  • Tightly lock and secure ALL doors and windows.

After the storm, you may contact us or local authorities to see if you can return.
